The Robin Hood Star Quits Smoking Because Of Son
Russell Crowe is a very well known actor in the whole world. He is one of the best actors from Hollywood. He has quit smoking after his son caught him stubbing out a cigarette.
The Express says that Russell Crowe was a regular smoker and he smoked two or more packs of cigarettes a day for many years, but he was hiding this habit from his little children, Tennyson and Charlie.
The Robin Hood star described the story that made him quit smoking cigarettes, when he was at a press conference on the forthcoming live production of Ben Hur. He decided to give up smoking once and for all because he realized it is bad for his health and his children’s health, too.
He says he was in his office and he thought he heard his office door open, but when he looked around there was no one, so he had his cigarette.
Later after smoking the entire cigarette and when he was trying to put out it, he saw his son, Charlie lying between the table and the couch and of course his son saw him smoking. That time he decided that that cigarette is the last one and it really was the last one.
Russell Crowe has tried a few times in the past to quit smoking; he even had a stop smoking hypnosis treatment, but didn’t work. Only his son’s sad, disappointed face convinced him he should stop. So sometimes kids can be the only treatment and can be as effective as curing the addiction.
The Herald Tribune reports that the actor now plans to devote the coming year to his young family. Crowe said that he doesn’t want to get on a plane again in this year. He also adds that now he has normal rhythm of life and a healthy lifestyle for him and his kids.
